About Us

As a family-owned retreat, Belle Isle is an antidote to corporate hotels. Seclusion, tranquillity, and the chance to step away from modern stresses are our priorities. This is a working estate where the agricultural land is let to a dairy farmer who grazes cows and cuts the meadows for silage. The woodlands provide shelter, walks, and a haven for birds and animals. Many of our buildings are listed and the island has been designated an Area of Special Scientific Interest.
